Job Description:
Responsibilities- Manage company’s full accounting process in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies,
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end closings, IFRS (Group) and HAS, ensuring Group deadlines are met with precision,
- Responsible for preparation of Financial Statutory Reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Notes, and Business report),
- Responsible for Tax planning, coordination of yearly transfer price documentation (external support), preparing Tax returns (VAT, CIT, etc), while collaborating with division tax department,
- Responsible for Preparing and submit Statutory Reports to KSH, MNB, etc.,
- Responsible for data integrity, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, Inter-Company, etc.,
- Responsible for preparing ad hoc reports and statements to support management decision, including support CFO and Controller on the budget and forecasting process,
- Liaison and serve as primary point of contact with Auditors, relevant Authorities and Business Partners, ensuring timely and accurate data submission,
- Following Group guidelines, responsible for Accounting Compliance requirements, establishing policies and accounting procedures,
- Promote the professional development of the Accounting team, Managing direct reports (2 FTEs),
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall Accounting function. Actively participating in the development and improvement of financial and accounting processes, proposing efficiency-enhancing solutions.
Requirements- University degree in Economics, and Certified Chartered Accountant qualification is a must,
- 5&43; years progressive accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing environment), including preparation of Financial Statements,
- Up to date Knowledge of Accounting HAS, IFRS and Tax regulations
- Fluent English knowledge
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP experience is a plus), Advanced Excel knowledge and Google Workspace tools,
- A proactive problem-solver with a sharp analytical eye and deadline oriented approach,
- Knowledge of both automated and manual accounting principles, procedures and practices is important
