Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Entry, Associate or Mid-level) to join our team in Ridley Park, PA!
Join Vertical Lift at the Ridley Park Site, a leader in aerospace innovation, supporting Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Tool Control initiatives. In this role, you will ensure compliance with company policies and drive continuous improvement in FOD and tool control processes to meet program, contract, customer, regulatory, and international standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enforce FOD directives, policies, procedures, and metrics related to FOD and tool control
- Analyze process data, metrics, and workflows to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Assist in root cause analysis of FOD related nonconformance issues and lead corrective action efforts
- Drive process improvement projects focused on FOD and Tool Control across the site
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions
- Conduct assessments and audits to verify compliance with FOD focused quality management systems, configuration assurance, and regulatory requirements, report findings to management
- Identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks; develop strategies and metrics aligned with business objectives
- Prepare analytical reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance on FOD procedures and FOD/tool control requirements, ensuring alignment with BPI-6533 standards
Level 1/2:
- Assist with activities across limited functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations.
- Assists with assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results.
- Assist the organization to implement strategies and plans.
- Works under close supervision.
Level 3:
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
- Analyzes and interprets data.
- Provides feedback on assessment results.
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
- Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA)
- 1+ years of experience leading improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies
- 1+ years of experience working in multi-functional teams
- 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with strong communication skills for interacting with leadership, internal and external customer representatives.
- 1+ years of experience implementing lean principle
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision
- 1+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
- 1+ years of experience auditing to quality system standards
Level 3

Summary pay range:
Level 1: $65,450 - $88,550
Level 2: $79,900 - $108,100 USD
Level 3: $96,900 - $131,100
