LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $36/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance (not required to start)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, occasional overtime

Summary:

Fabricate electronic and electromechanical assemblies, including placement and soldering of components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies

Fabricate wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and applying mounting hardware

Assemble lower-level assemblies into single or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas

Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and technical guides

Communicate fabrication or process issues verbally and in writing to management and engineers

Use software tools and Microsoft Office to update job status, track inspections, and record engineering changes

Work in a fast-paced fabrication environment while adhering to quality and safety standards

Requirements:

Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance (not required to start)

High School Diploma (no Bachelors degree required)

3+ years of experience in fabrication environments, including cable/harness fabrication, SMT board assembly, or military product maintenance

Prior certification in soldering and harness fabrication per MIL-STD requirements

Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to report issues to engineers or management

Proficiency with software tools and Microsoft Office

Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

Associates Degree

Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711, or IPC-7721

Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials
