* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years of related work experience, Master’s degree + 7 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

* MRB Engineering experience is required.
* Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

* Experience supporting MRB activities within DoD or commercial aerospace programs.
* Experience working in production environments supporting structural repairs and non-conformance resolution. Job Duties & Functions
* Assess and resolve product and process issues across the product lifecycle.
* Lead root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
* Develop and implement interim and final engineering solutions.
* Support Integrated Product Teams and participate in design reviews.
* Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with engineering standards.
* Analyze reported problems for safety impact and manage resolution efforts.
* Support on-site repair activities, accident investigations, and technical response teams.
* Design structural repairs, including jacking and shoring schemes, and perform strength analysis.
* Develop and implement non-destructive testing procedures, tools, and standards.
* Provide technical training and develop training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
* Support customer communications for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment. Physical Requirements & Environment
