Contribute to one ambition: develop the world’s first hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft. You will join the ZEROe project as part of the Thermal Management System engineering team.
Your role will be to participate in the thermal design definition and guidance. You will perform the thermal analysis and the preparation of the test bench as well as its validation and reporting:
Define the heat exchanger internal parameters and configuration (channel height, fin type, fin distance, channels configuration, etc) based on previous thermal results and thermal performance, provide guidance and lead the design and optimization of Heat Exchangers.
Conduct and guide thermal modeling and simulations to predict system performance and mitigate thermal risks.
Use knowledge of Thermal Test Rigs, including instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and safety protocols.
Define, design, and prepare test benches for validating thermal designs and performance specifications. Test Objectives definition and associated documentation.
Execute thermal validation campaigns, analyze test data, and provide reports and recommendations for design improvements.
Work with modelling, testing, design, development… teams.
University degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience.
Experience in designing thermal/cooling systems.
Strong knowledge or experience in additive manufacturing.
Basic knowledge of thermal modelling and simulation.
Some knowledge in the following toolsets: design tools (e.g. Catia V5, 3DEXperience); finite element tools (e.g. Hyperworks, Patran/Nastran, Abaqus) and data analysis (e.g. Python, Matlab).
Highly curious and proactive person with a great sense of initiative, autonomy, flexibility, integrity, able to manage confidential topics.
Strong team spirit in an international environment, easy contact, good networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
Languages: Negotiation level of English is a must, good level of Spanish is a plus.
