Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Material Clerks to join our team in shipping and receiving parts, materials, cores, and equipment, while efficiently managing inventory in the computer system. The role involves ensuring that packages are free from visible damage and verifying compliance with federal regulations and company policies concerning quality, documentation, and traceability, including part number, serial number, and shelf life. You will also conduct shelf life audits, build or relocate shelving, and perform cycle counts. This position is located at Van Nuys Airport.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
• Replenish inventory in the computer system.
• Verify packages for visible damage and compliance with regulations and policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of items received.
• Perform shelf life audits and cycle counts.
• Build or relocate shelving as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in parts, materials, inventory, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Handling parts and materials.
• Strong computer skills.

• Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an inventory department or warehouse.
• Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

The role is set in an indoor warehouse environment, requiring casual attire such as a t-shirt, work pants, and close-toed shoes.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am, off Friday and Saturday

This is a Contract position based out of Van Nuys, CA 91406.

The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr.
