Job Summary
Member of the warehouse operations team. The Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and aircraft parts in an aircraft manufacturing environment. Reports to Cirrus Materials Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10; must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
- Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material.
- Records receipts and reports discrepancies.
- Performs receiving, put away, kitting, picking, packing and shipping of goods.
- Stock and organize parts and inventory in the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory counts and readily accessible materials.
- Ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage or deterioration.
- Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base.
- Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing.
- Support all facility regulatory and safety codes.

- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Drivers license a must.
- Warehouse operations experience preferred, not required
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Ability to operate and utilize handheld inventory management scanner required
- Ability to operate computers with the Windows operating system
- Knowledge on aircraft/parts is a plus
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
