Job Description
Join our team at a leading aircraft maintenance service provider, where you will be primarily located at Midway Airport. Your role will involve performing maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircrafts both in the hangar and on the road during AOG rotations.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircrafts in the hangar and on the road.
- Participate in weekly on-call/AOG rotations with the rest of the staff.
- Float to other locations as needed, working on commercial and GA aircraft.
- Manage all aspects of projects you are attached to, providing updates to all relevant parties.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, aircraft owners, maintenance control teams, and other stakeholders during on-call and travel assignments.
Essential Skills
- A&P License
- Experience in AOG operations
- Strong communication skills with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers
- Quality written/documentation skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of AOG experience strongly preferred
- Experience with corporate/private airframes is strongly preferred
- Experience with companies like Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream Fast, Jet East, Net Jets, Flex Jet is advantageous
- Open to candidates without corporate experience but must be professional and customer-focused

Work Environment
The role includes a weekly 7 on/7 off on-call schedule for travel, weekend, and after-hours work. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility required. Work is conducted in a non-climate controlled hangar, with a focus on quality and return-to-service turnaround time. Travel is within a 300-mile radius, primarily in Chicago, but may extend to surrounding cities. You will travel with another mechanic as a team for AOG calls.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
