Job Title: Aircraft Technician
Job Description
We are seeking certified assembly technicians to join our Installation/Modification Travel Teams. You will be responsible for performing In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS upgrade kit installations on various aircraft types. This work will be conducted in accordance with aircraft manufacturer manuals, engineering drawings, FARs, and company policies, prioritizing safety and high standards at all times. The position is located in Gainesville, FL.
Typical duties include tearing out old aircraft components and fixtures, performing various corrosion and maintenance checks, and then installing newly upgraded parts and testing them.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-seat power, Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS upgrade installations.
- Tear out old aircraft components and fixtures. Maintenance checks. Installing new parts.
- Follow aircraft manufacturer manuals and engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with FARs and company policies.
- Maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members as part of the Travel Road Team.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in aircraft, aviation maintenance.
- Possession of an A&P License and Airframe License.
- Basic toolset required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Embraer aircraft, particularly EMB 175, is highly preferred.
- Candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience or top-end entry-level candidates are welcome.

Work Environment
Work is conducted 7 days a week with 12-hour days, requiring flexibility in work hours from 7 am until as late as 7 pm. You will collaborate in teams of 5-10 people, gaining industry respect for delivering top-notch work for regional carriers. The company values team players and great learners. The facility will be closed during the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Gainesville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.25 - $41.25/hr.
