About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the enterprise Labor Supply and Demand process across Air, Land, and Sea to ensure effective balancing of labor supply and demand.

  • Leading the Air Systems Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure effective balancing of production and material supply and demand.

  • Leading the Direct Working Indirect (DWI) management process to ensure indirect projects and efforts are executed within budget.

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing Business Operations and Engineering process tools, including Power BI dashboards, reports, work instructions, and process documentation.

  • Translating complex data into actionable insights that drive improved operational execution and best‑practice adoption.

  • Acting as an integrator across Business Operations, Engineering, HR, Program Management, and Finance to ensure accurate supply/demand planning data.

  • Providing structure, analysis, and project execution on assignments that may be fluid, undefined, or cross‑functional.

  • Ensuring internal stakeholders remain informed, aligned, and equipped for effective decision‑making.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including preparation of design documentation.Effective presentation skills.

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio).

  • Desire and ability to operate in a team environment is required.

  • Desire and ability to lead teams or individuals in design, manufacturing, or troubleshooting taskings.

  • Experience with mechanism development, generating Free Body Diagrams, performing basic static/dynamic/structural hand calculations, prototyping, packaging, performance specifications, material tests, and research investigations.

  • Familiarity with and ability to use computer-aided design tools is required; Solidworks and Autocad are preferred, MagicDraw and Jira are a plus.

  • Experience designing tests for military environmental, shock, and vibration qualifications.

  • Temperament to work in the lab, shop floor, or office.

  • Familiarity with ASME drawing standards is preferred.

  • Ability to get a security clearance.

Education & Experience Levels

  • Experience levels will be determined by a hiring team. We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, or a related field. Experience recommendations below. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is:

  • Level I Engineer: typically, 0 – 1 year of experience$71,400.00 - $107,000.00 per year

  • Level II Engineer: typically, 2 years of experience$88,200.00 - $133,000.00 per year

  • Level III Engineer: typically, 5 years of experience$110,500.00 - $167,900.00 per year

  • Level IV Engineer: typically, 9 years of experience$140,100.00 - $214,700.00 per year
