* Pay Rate: $38.07-$46.60/hour Education & Job Requirements
* Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate’s degree + 2 years of related work, Bachelor’s degree, etc.).
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with non-porous metals, such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience using hand tools such as drills (45 and 90 degrees), pancake adapters, counter sink cages, hole finders, and rivet guns for structures.
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with heavy structures, including locating, drilling, countersinking, and fastening structures to aircraft.
* Ability to work variable shifts, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills
* Live aircraft experience.
* Experience with depot-level or heavy structures maintenance or components.
* Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding-type electric-powered elevating equipment. Job Duties & Functions
* Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation on critical support structures and fracture critical areas.
* Locate blind holes for the installation of new structural items to existing structures.
* Execute sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation processes in accordance with repair standards.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements.
* Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modification and repair of structural parts.
* Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical components and replace parts as required.
* Perform sheet metal and structural modification and repair tasks.
* Determine functionality of basic electrical systems.
* Use aircraft tools, including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, and sheet metal equipment.
* Access aircraft data systems and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.
* Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned work.
* Ensure a safe working environment using Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag Out systems. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Must be able to lift up to 10-20 lbs.
* Ascend and descend vertical work ladders and work in confined spaces.
